Taxpayers may print books and forms directly but are encouraged to file electronically for faster, more convenient processing.

Office of the Chief Risk Officer

Functions:

  • Ensuring the governance of risks and opportunities for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO).
  • Confirming that the organization is in complete compliance with the District of Columbia government’s regulations and guidelines.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the OCFO, including financial, regulatory, operational, technology, emerging, implementation, and fiduciary risks.
  • Developing risk policies and initiatives across the OCFO to strengthen and improve the operations to minimize risks.
  • Developing and managing a comprehensive process for assessing, identifying, monitoring, and reducing pertinent business risks that could interfere with the OCFO’s objectives and goals.
  • Ensuring that the organization is fully prepared for regulatory examinations, including risk mitigation policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Establishing and institutionalizing an integrated risk management framework.
