District CFO Jeffrey DeWitt to Testify on FY 2014 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

The District of Columbia Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey S. DeWitt, Inspector General Daniel Lucas and City Administrator Rashad Young will testify at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 5, at the Council of the District of Columbia Committee of the Whole’s public hearing on the "Fiscal Year 2014 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report” (CAFR). The hearing will take place at the John A. Wilson Building in the Council Chamber -- Room 500.

The report garnered the District's 18th consecutive clean audit. The District’s cumulative General Fund balance was $1.87 billion, up from $1.75 billion in FY 2013.

Special Note: CFO DeWitt will be available to answer questions regarding the FY 2014 results immediately after the hearing.
