Projects Financed in the District - Verizon Center

Verizon Center Project

The Verizon Center is a sports and entertainment facility that is home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, and the NCAA’s Georgetown Hoyas’s men’s basketball team. The $50 million was used to upgrade the 20,000 sf arena.
