Michael Bolden (Mike) is a senior finance executive with over 14 years of experience. As one of the Cluster’s Directors for Finance Operations, he manages (approx.) $1 billion in operating and capital for more than 20 agencies.

During his tenure with the OCFO, Mike has overseen the development, execution and annual closing of numerous agency budgets.  He implemented an in-house cluster training program, oversaw the restructuring of work assignments and job functions and provided direction and analysis on several large District financial projects, earning him the Mayoral Proclamation for Stewardship.

Michael earned his master’s in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and his BS in Economics from Southern University.  Michael is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association.
