Overview of Recommendations

OIO offered only one recommendation: “We request your staff conduct a full review of this case to determine whether the identified credits are valid and correct.”  The result of the review was to determine that this property went from total taxable to part exempt and part taxable starting with TY2001. The credit is a true credit that came from the payments made back in 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004. The credit that was converted to ITS from RPT2000 is $94,422.10. Another converted credit, made in amount of $58,068.89, cannot be substantiated.  The credits were carried forward up until 2012.  Notes in ITS demonstrate that the taxpayer did not provide proper documentation to process a refund.
