Orsheka Moore joined the Economic Development and Regulation Cluster in April 2025 as the agency fiscal officer responsible for the financial operations of the Public Service Commission and Office of the People's Counsel.
She began her career with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer’s Government Operations Cluster in 2019 as a senior budget analyst responsible for the Board of Elections, Mayor's Office on Latino Affairs, Office of Employee Appeals, and District of Columbia Statehood. In 2022, she was promoted within the cluster to serve as the budget officer for the District of Columbia Public Library.
Moore has nearly 20 years of experience in public finance. Her expertise encompasses finance administration, accounting, budgeting, treasury, payroll, long-term financial planning, capital projects, and grants.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor's in marketing. Moore is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators.
