Olga Provotorova was appointed controller for the Government Services Cluster in February 2019. She began her career at the District of Columbia government in the accounting department of DC Public Schools in 2004.
Prior to joining the District government, Provotorova worked in the banking system in various financial management positions. Overall, she has more than 20 years of experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting; grant management, audits, and advisory services in the public and private sectors.
She earned a master's in finance from the Moscow Financial University (formerly Moscow Financial Academy). She is also a certified public accountant, certified governmental financial manager, and a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and Association of Government Accountants.
