Board of Ethics and Government Accountability

Public Financial Disclosure Statement: The DC Ethics Act requires all designated District employees paid, regardless of pay schedule, at a rate equivalent to an Excepted Service employee paid at a rate of Excepted Service 9 or above (which was $109,614 or above for 2019) and who make decisions or participate substantially in areas of contracting, procurement, administration of grants or subsidies, developing policies, land use planning, inspecting, licensing, policy-making, regulating, or auditing, or act in these areas of responsibility to complete the BEGA Public Financial Disclosure Statement (PFDS). The reporting period for the PFDS is the prior calendar year, current and former employees are required to file and it is due annually on May 15. Employees who are required to submit the PFDS are individually notified by BEGA via e-mail and regular mail and are provided instructions on how to file their PFDS directly with BEGA.

The reporting period for the CFDS is the prior calendar year, current and former employees are required to file and it is due annually on May 15. Employees who are required to submit the CFDS are individually notified by the OCFO ethics officer via e-mail and are provided instructions on how to complete the form. The CFDS is filed with the OCFO ethics officer.
