Enyew Godie, as of June 2019, is the agency fiscal officer for the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. In this role, he also supports the Office of the Tenant Advocate and Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration.

Prior to his current role, Godie joined the Government of District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), in January 2007, as a contractor. He became a permanent employee of the OCFO, with the Office of the State Superintendent, in December 2008. Since joining the OCFO, he has held different positions including billing examiner, accountant, budget analyst, and budget officer and has worked for the Metropolitan Police Department, Department of Forensic Sciences, Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, Department of For-Hire Vehicles, and the Commission on the Arts and Humanities.

He has a master's from Maharishi University of Management -- Fairfield, Iowa, and his bachelor's in accounting from Unity University (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia), graduating with honors. He is also a certified management accountant.
