Erin K. Law, associate general counsel and chief counsel for public finance and economic development, joined the Office of the Chief Financial Officer in 2020. Previously, Law was a partner at a law firm in New Jersey, where she represented various public clients, including municipalities, authorities, school boards and libraries in various matters.
She is a frequent panelist who covers various topics, which include stormwater-utility creation, infrastructure financing, economic development and public finance. She is the co-author of an article entitled Is Your Credit Rating Resilient Against Climate Change?, which appeared in NJLOM Magazine in 2019.
She received a juris doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law and a bachelor's degree with a double major in political science and administration of justice from Douglass College of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
