Office of Human Resources

Functions:

  • Establishes and interprets OCFO human resources policies and provides advisory services to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
  • Identify, attract, and deliver highly qualified individuals, recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity and inclusion in the OCFO.
  • Maintain a competitive compensation program that is consistent, fair, equitable, non-discriminatory, and reflective of the importance OCFO employees play in the delivery of services.
  • Administer a comprehensive benefits program that offers a variety of services that support employee retention and encourage OCFO employees and their families to be healthy and productive.
  • Ensure the OCFO SMARTER values are promulgated through the hiring and performance management processes.
  • Implement a performance management program that assures a fair appraisal process that includes recognition of outstanding performance and provides individual developmental opportunities.
  • Deliver employee relations, labor relations, and equal employee opportunity services to all employees.
  • Assist employees with understanding and preventing sexual harassment, other unlawful harassment, and discrimination through mandatory training sessions.
  • Provide training opportunities for employees to develop leadership and management skills, enhance technical knowledge, and improve professional development.
