Office of the Clean City's Adopt-A-Block Program Partners With the District Department of Transportation's Urban Forestry Adopt-A-Tree Program
The Office of the Clean City is partnering with the District Department of Transportation’s Urban Forestry Administration adopt-a-tree program in conjunction with the adopt-a-block program. Adoptees, both current and future, have the chance to utilize this program by adopting trees in their adopted area. Once adopted, DDOT will deliver a free watering ring for each tree adopted. Adoptees will agree to water the tree(s) weekly for a two year period.
