Ginny Brant

Ginny Brant was appointed controller of the Government Services Cluster in April, 2007. She began her career with the Government of the District of Columbia in 2002, serving as the assistant controller of the Government Services Cluster.
Prior to joining DC government, Brant spent 25 years in accounting management positions in the public and private sector, having served as assistant controller of the National Housing Partnerships, a Congressionally chartered corporation charged with nationwide development and management of low- and moderate-income housing; assistant comptroller of the University of Maryland, University College;  and as chief financial officer of the Humphrey Companies, real estate development, construction, residential and hotel property management, and REIT management firm with locations throughout the United States.
Brant graduated cum laude and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and technology management from the University of Maryland, College Park.
