The OCFO conducts background investigations on new hires. Generally, the investigation is conducted after the new employee has entered on duty. Along with the employee's resume, employment application, certification letter, and release-of-information and the questionnaire form is used to make inquiries to determine suitability for employment. Employment with the OCFO is subject to a satisfactory background investigation.

Submitting via e-mail the DC 2000 application, residency form, and criminal background form is viewed the same as a signature in section 11, and all penalties will be enforced for falsified information. Please note that the "Release of Information" form does not need to be included.
