Clarice Wood is the Associate Treasurer of Banking and Operations for the Office of Finance and Treasury (OFT). She joined OFT in May 2009. In her current role, she manages the largest group of financial and operational functions under OFT that include: Banking, Revenue Collections, Cashiering, Electronic Banking, Payment Operations, and Debt Collections.
Prior to District government employment, Ms. Wood was a career banker spending 24 years working for large commercial to community banks in such divisions as: treasury management, product development and management, retail and private banking, and middle-market commercial lending. Ms. Wood maintains a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation since 1996 and also held a series 7 and 63 securities representative designation. She earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Robert Merrick School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Wood is currently a Board Member and Committee Chair for the District of Columbia Financial Literacy Council (FLC), a mayoral appointed commission board. She is also a member of the AFP and GFOA.
