Senior Policy Analyst
Nate Cruz, a senior policy analyst for Economic Development Finance, initially joined EDF in 2006. In his role, Cruz analyzes economic development projects financed through public-private partnerships.
Cruz was previously employed by the Port of San Francisco, where he managed the finances of the Port’s real estate portfolio. He also worked for San Francisco’s Budget and Legislative Analyst Office, where he calculated the fiscal impact of legislation. Cruz is a returned Peace Corps volunteer (Morocco 2001-03). He earned a master's in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's in business administration from Georgetown University.
