Biography
David Umansky

Public Affairs Officer, Office of the Chief Financial Officer

David Umansky was appointed public affairs officer in April 2008.

Umansky has been director of communications for the Smithsonian Institution, senior vice president of Burson Marsteller and vice president of Gray and Company. He was a presidential appointee in the Carter administration and served as administrative assistant to a member of Congress.

He began his career as a reporter and columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
