DC College Savings Plan

The DC College Savings Plan is a 529 college savings investment plan (named after Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code) offered by the District of Columbia. The plan is designed to help individuals and families save for higher education expenses, while offering several tax benefits to residents that participate. The Office of Finance and Treasury administers the program, and the Calvert Group of Bethesda, MD, serves as program manager.

Representatives of Calvert frequently attend community events throughout the city to help explain the plan and its benefits. If you would like to invite a plan representative to your next meeting, please use Calvert's online contact form.
