The DC College Savings Plan is a tax-advantaged 529 college savings investment plan (named after Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code) offered by the District of Columbia.
The plan is designed to help families save for the higher education expenses of a designated beneficiary and is available to DC residents as well as non-residents nationwide. Residents, however, receive preferred pricing for participation and certain District tax benefits.
