Biography
Lasana K. Mack
Deputy CFO and Treasurer, Office of Finance and Treasury

Lasana Mack was appointed Deputy CFO for the Office of Finance and Treasury in February 2006, after serving as acting treasurer since August 2005.

Before being appointed acting treasurer, Mack was the associate treasurer for debt management and grants in the Office of Finance and Treasury (OFT).

 

Mack is an 18-year veteran of OFT. He has worked extensively in the District’s cash management and debt management operations. He has managed the District’s debt from the control board era and through the numerous increases in the District’s bond ratings from “junk bond” status to its current A+/A ratings.

Mack has a master’s degree in finance from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, and a bachelor’s in business administration from Howard University, Washington, DC.
